From NBC MILWAUKEE - A 32 year-old woman was twice the legal limit with 11 kids inside the Dodge Durango when she hit the cement wall and flipped the car.
“I could care less about people being outraged because they don’t know my daughter," said Angela Kirk, the driver’s mother.
Kirk admits her daughter, 32 year-old Akira Kirk made a mistake by driving drunk with her 7 children, and four other children inside the car.
The crash happened at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon when Akira Kirk slammed into a cement wall..
“This was a stupid mistake that she made, but I don’t think they should keep her for this,” Angela Kirk said.
Sheriff Clarke says that Akira Kirk does not have a driver’s license and doesn’t have insurance either.
