AP gives incomplete account of Chicago police sentiments on concealed carry

“Chicago police joined gun control groups Wednesday to voice concerns about flaws in Illinois' mental health screening system for would-be gun owners, problems that could be amplified by a bill to allow permits for carrying concealed firearms,” the Associated Press reported Thursday in a story carried by The Chicago Tribune.

The blog Second City Cop, written by a Chicago Police officer, calls the report “misleading” :
