My personal comments on Che.
Toast the anniversary of the death of a murderer and international agent of Communism who didn't live to see President Reagan demand that "Gorbachev, tear down this wall", and to see the release of hundreds of millions of people from the enslavement of Guevara's anti-human ideology, as American sacrifice and the desire of humans to live free, resulted in the breakup of the Soviet Empire.
Che and the USSR, both lie on the ash heap of history.
I remember fondly that moment during my teen years, when I read that this Stalinist had been halted. I felt proud that our Green Berets had supplied the expertise to stop this man who had devoted his life to evil, and oppression. God bless the Green Berets, whose motto and guiding purpose is "De oppresso liber", ("free the oppressed"). WM
