"General Electric, the nation's largest corporation, had a very good year in 2010" reported the Times. "The company reported worldwide profits of $14.2 billion, and said $5.1 billion of the total came from its operations in the United States. Its American tax bill? None. In fact, GE claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion."
Here is the BS that AP just reported today, they pulled it of course after someone less liberal pointed out that it was obviously a hoax.

GE to return $3.2 billion to US Treasury
The company, based in Fairfield, Conn., plans to phase out tax havens over 5 years and said it will create one job in the US for each new job it creates overseas.
