AMHAGERSTOWN, Md., Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Authorities in Washington County, Md., say a 15-year-old girl apparently hired a fellow teenager to kill her father.County prosecutors have charged the girl, whose identity was not released, with soliciting murder for allegedly approaching a teenage boy on a school bus in October to request a hit on her father, The Washington Post said Friday.
The 19-year-old charged in the Halloween death of the girl's father, whose identity has also not been released to protect his daughter's identity, has been identified as Alec S. Eger.Authorities allege the girl informed Eger that he could find her father alone behind their home early Halloween morning.The father's body was found that day with multiple stab wounds to the head and neck, the Post reported.
John Dunlap, assistant state's attorney for Washington County, told the newspaper the man's daughter became a suspect in his death after authorities learned they had a conflict over the teen's friends.
The Post said the girl's father had concerns with her goth-styled friends who allegedly would drink one another's blood.
